Due to the way Pro Tools is set up, you name a session before you even begin on it. I always end up sticking with the names now, even if they have nothing to do with the actually songs. This one I think I wrote like a month ago.

When I get creatively stifled I record covers. It's a good way to get the juices flowing.

Let's be honest. It's weird singing to yourself in a small, cold room. Often times I'll find myself fleshing out most of a song and getting to the point where it's about time to record some vocals and not really knowing where to go. So what I do is hook up a mic, press record and go, testing out melodies and using whatever words are around me - in some cases words I've written for another song. And that leads me to sing very quietly and reserved. That is most definitely the case with the lead vox on this next one. Aside from the first little verse everything I'm saying is complete bs but I thought I'd put it up anyway.
